Gosainkunda Helicopter Tour

Gosainkunda is one of the famous and important pilgrimage sites of Nepal lies in the northern side of Kathmandu valley, close to Tibetan border. It is an alpine fresh water lakes, situated in Langtang National park of Langtang region. Gosiankunda, located at the elevation of 4360 meter, has 108 small to medium size lakes and surrounded by nine other frozen lakes. A large rock stand tall in the middle of the lakes which is also known as shrine of lord Shiva. There is belief in people that in this lake Lord Shiva had mediated once. In the month of August every year in the time of Janai Purnima (ritual celebration) a great fair is organized here. Thousands of devotees travel here to enjoy this festival.
